Are flowers busting out everywhere near where you live? I have been noticing them creeping up all over the cement jungle of Downtown LA. Secret spots such as the Lillian Disney memorial garden at the Walt Disney Concert Hall, or the Japanese temples in Little Tokyo offer great respite.

Woof! We made it through the first month of 2018. By now we have either stuck to our New Years resolutions or let them fade to black. How did it go fellow resolution-makers?

We have had way too much fun this month. Well, my idea of fun anyway. For example, I think we must have seen at least two live-theatre adaptation of A Christmas Carol. I absolutely adored Irving Berlin's White Christmas stage production in Long Beach. I am going to blaspheme and say I was almost more entertained by the stage play than by the film! I know. I know.
