So… someone decided to haul off with a statue of Marylin Monroe. The sculpture depicting Monroe in her iconic pose from the 1955 film “The Seven Year Itch” went missing early Monday from a Hollywood gazebo (which by the way is featured on my self-guided Hollywood walking tour). Witnesses saw someone literally saw it off. There are cheaper and more legal ways to add Marilyn flare to your life…. like the art piece pictured here I discovered on Amazon.
Elizabeth Taylor’s Pacific Palisades home she leased with Conrad Hilton is up for sale for a cool $6.8 million.

The other day, my husband randomly asked me, “Is Doris Day still alive?” As many of you know, we lost Doris last year, May 13, 2019. She lived a long full life, though. She was 97 years old, and in those 97 years, Doris work embodied that of the All-American girl. Her legendary career included numerous hit singles, many classic movies, The Doris Day Show, and her passionate advocacy for animals.
